Q&A: SITTING DOWN WITH HANNAH HASTON
At Noble 31, you'll always hear us gushing over our amazing photographer, Hannah Haston. She allows photoshoots to feel effortless, and she captures the most stunning images. We have been from Marfa to Santa Barbara to everywhere in between with her! Since Hannah is such an important part of the side of Noble 31 that our Noble babes get to see, we wanted y'all to get a chance to get to know the face behind the camera.
When did you first get into photography and why?
I got started in photography my senior year of college back in 2015. I was lost and found myself in a major that I knew I didn’t want to pursue. I was always artistic and creative growing up and that year I decided to start pursuing photography and never looked back!
What is the best part about photoshoots?
The best part about photoshoots is the people I get to shoot!! I have been able to work with so many amazing and talented people over the years. It’s such an intimate experience when people bring you into their worlds and share the things that are most important to them with you. And that is so special to me.
What is your favorite photoshoot you've ever done?
My favorite photoshoot would hands down be the SS20 collection shoot for Noble 31 we shot in Santa Barbara. I remember wrapping up our shoot down by the ocean and then praying over the collection. It still makes me emotional thinking about it! Everything about that trip and shoot had me in a true “pinch me” type moment I’ll never forget.
What is your favorite subject to photograph?
This is tough because I have so many favorites but shooting for Noble 31 takes the cake. The fun locations and beautiful clothing lines come to mind, but it’s also the purpose behind the brand that really gives meaning to what I do and that makes it so dear and special to me.
What inspires you?
His creation, traveling and beautiful light are some of my biggest inspirations!
How did you get involved with Noble 31?
Mutual friends inevitably brought us together but in the end we were a perfect match!
What does a typical day in the life look like for you?
To be honest every single day is different! That’s part of why I love my job so much. Some days I am prepping or traveling for a shoot, other days I’m editing all day in my pj's and in-between I’m running errands and trying to keep my life together! Despite what I have scheduled, when I make time to read my bible and workout in the morning it’s a game-changer.
What can you find on your nightstand?
On my nightstand you’ll find lip balm, my favorite Miami edition Diptique candle, a framed print of me and my husband and every once in a while fresh flowers!
Favorite fall / holiday cocktail or Starbucks order?
I’m not much of a coffee drinker (I know!) but I recently came across an apple cider sangria recipe on Pinterest I want to try!
Your favorite thing to do in the fall?
My favorite fall activities are going for extra long evening walks with my pup, Louie, and attending Baylor football games with my husband, Hunter!
