Make It: Peach Ice Cream

Summer heat in Texas + peach season calls for homemade ice cream. This recipe is so easy and can either be made in an ice cream maker or freeze in freezer sale container. Serve in a cup or cone and you are sure to wow your guests.

Pick up 5 fresh peaches, best if from a farmers market in Parker County! The rest of the ingredients can be found at any grocery store. Throw all of them into  a high powered blender and blend to desired consistency. I like to leave the peaches a little chunkier and I keep the skin on. You can use an ice cream maker for 25 minutes and serve immediately or freeze in a container for about 5 hours. The blend also works well in popsicle molds. This has become a family favorite this summer.
