City Guide: A Weekend in Santa Barbara
Every time we put on a piece from the new SS20 collection, we are transported right back to the California coast where the line was inspired. Specifically, to Santa Barbara where we shot most of the collection.
We have frequented Santa Barbara for years. Mackenzie and Staley go at least twice a year with their in-laws, and it really is the perfect weekend destination. Whether you’re with your girlfriends, a family trip with kids, or just a weekend getaway as a couple, there is something for everyone. Here are a few things on the top of our list every time we go…
Without hesitation, the cutest place to stay is the Miramar Hotel. With the dreamy location right on the water in Montecito and some of the best food in SB (we’re obsessed with the new Malibu Farm) there is no reason to even leave to property. That said, you should definitely venture out into Montecito. We recommend breakfast at Jeannine’s, strolling along the street and popping in the cute stores (Angel, K. Frank, E. Madison, Cos Bar are a few of our favorites), lunch at Honor Bar (killer kale salad and martini, our mouths are watering), pick me up at Juice Ranch, and ending the day with dinner at Tre Lune. Well we take that back, dinner at Tre Lune, but ending the day back at the Miramar for a night cap and dessert.
Another day, you should definitely check out the town of Santa Barbara. We love the Funk Zone, there are so many cute restaurants and tasting rooms you can just pop into. We always grab lunch at Lama Dog/Nook and then walk across the street to our favorite home store, Cabana Home. There’s also Brophy Bros, which is on the pier, so it’s great for people watching and watching all the boats come in and out. For dinner, we love Loquita, The Lark, and Barbareño.

We could go on and on about Santa Barbara and all the things to do there. We absolutely loved shooting out SS20 campaign there and are so excited to finally share the collection with you.
